He nodded.

The letter cleared her of every allegation.

Her qualifications were restored.

Her record was corrected.

And the leadership position she thought she had lost was being offered to her again.

Several soldiers behind her lowered their eyes.

They had spent months believing rumors.

Now the official document said exactly what Maya had said from the beginning.

She was innocent.
