Sergeant Daniel Hayes entered a roadside diner with his military working dog, Rex.
At a booth near the window sat a large biker named Briggs.
Rex immediately became alert.
His ears went up.
His eyes locked on Briggs.
Daniel noticed.
Briggs laughed.
“Your dog got a problem with me?”
Daniel sat across from him.
“Maybe.”
Briggs leaned back confidently.
“I came here to talk business.”
Daniel looked at Rex.
The dog had not relaxed.
Then Rex suddenly moved closer to Briggs’ side of the booth.
Daniel’s expression changed.
Rex only behaved like that when he recognized something familiar.
